SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

We have implemented a comprehensive policy to reduce our environmental footprint.

AN ECO-RESPONSIBLE COMPANY

As a leading provider of outfitting solutions for shops and exhibitions, environmental and societal responsibility are key priorities for Sodem System.

Our business processes incorporate sustainable development values that our customers expect and support.

OUR COMMITMENTS:

  • Guarantee eco-design and production processes that minimise environmental impacts.
  • Prioritise the use of sustainable raw materials, as well as recyclable, recycled or biodegradable products. This is the case for materials such as aluminium (which represents 95% of the materials used in our shop and exhibition outfitting solutions), wood (which comes from certified and responsibly-managed sources), LED light bulbs, powder-based paints (with no solvents or toxic components), polyester (for our tension fabric solutions) and inks for dye-sublimation printing.
  • Ensure that our materials, products and waste are either recycled or recovered (partnership with GDE, one of the leaders in the recycling industry, and membership of Valdelia).
  • Choose partners whose policies also focus on sustainable development and protecting the environment.
  • Implement initiatives to protect the environment.

OUR ACTIONS

Sodem System is a member of Valdelia, an organisation specialised in collecting and recycling professional furniture. Its mission is to collect and recycle Professional Furniture Waste.

Sodem System has a partnership with Séché Environnement for the collection and recycling of its powder waste.

Sodem System prioritises the use of wood from responsibly-managed forests.

. Develop common methodologies for measuring direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions, including from the industry’s supply chain

. Build an industry-wide roadmap to achieve net zero by 2050, with an interim target for emission reductions in line with the Paris Agreement’s requirement by 2030

. Foster collaboration with suppliers and customers to ensure alignment and common approaches

. Establish shared mechanisms for reporting on progress and sharing best practices
